YunCheng TingDou E-Commerce Co., Ltd. Street canopy trade desk

Six services under one canopy

Support sheets, canopy notes and street letters run from the Yuncheng street desk

YunCheng TingDou E-Commerce Co., Ltd. offers six working services, each built around a piece of paper that moves under the canopy and each designed for the practical side of computer integrated systems design. The desk at No A-17, North Chaoliu Street, Konggang South Zone, Economic Development Zone, YunCheng City - 044000, China (CN) is the single point where all six services begin and end.

Support Sheet Bays

A support sheet bay is the stable home for one client record. The desk assigns each matter a numbered bay under the canopy board, clips the opening sheet into it, and keeps every later note in the same place. When a client calls about a matter, the clerk can pull the bay and read the whole history in one sitting, rather than searching through scattered files. Bay numbering is fixed for the life of the matter, which means a client can quote the bay number years later and still reach the right record.

Each sheet carries four fields at the top: the date the matter opened, the stock reference, the name of the clerk, and the name of the reviewer who will confirm the work. Below those fields the sheet is left open for working notes, so that the desk can record questions, answers and changes in one continuous column. The bay clerk checks the physical condition of every sheet at the end of the week and replaces any sheet that has become creased or stained. The company treats a bay as a promise of continuity, and it keeps that promise for as long as the client needs it.

Canopy Note Runs

A canopy note run moves the working notes between the street desk and the back store. The run happens twice each day, once in the late morning and once in the late afternoon, and it follows the same route every time so that nothing is skipped. The runner carries the notes in a canvas roll, hands them to the store clerk, waits while the clerk confirms the count, and marks the run complete on the canopy board before returning to the desk.

The purpose of the run is to keep the physical and the recorded state of a matter aligned. If a note says that a stock item is held, the back store must show that item held when the runner arrives. If a note says that a letter is drafted, the store must show the draft filed. Any difference found on the run is written on the same note and returned to the desk for a second look. Clients rarely see the run, but they feel its benefit in the accuracy of the answers the desk gives. The company runs the note route on every working day and records each completed run on a daily board that the supervisor checks before the close.

Street Letter Desks

The street letter desk drafts and files the formal correspondence of the company and the clients it serves. A letter begins with a short summary line so that a reader knows the matter at a glance, then sets out the facts in numbered paragraphs, then closes with the action that is expected and the date by which a reply is asked. The draft is passed to a second reader, corrected where needed, and filed with the support sheet of the same matter. Every letter keeps its earlier wording when it is revised, so that the sequence of the correspondence remains visible.

The desk keeps a small set of templates for common letters, including opening notes, confirmation notes, change notes and closing notes, but no letter is ever sent straight from a template. The writer adapts the template to the actual matter, removes any line that does not fit, and adds the reference numbers that a reader needs to follow the case. Letters are written in English only, in plain wording, and are addressed to a named person wherever one is known. The desk replies to correspondence within one working day and keeps a copy of every letter it sends.

Stall Windows

A stall window is the public statement of the desk. It is a plain board fixed at the front of the canopy, showing the services that are open for booking this week, the services that are held for review, and the days on which the desk will close early. The window is reset twice a day so that a client who walks past in the morning and again in the evening sees the same accurate picture on both occasions. The company treats the stall window as a matter of honesty, and it will not post a service as open unless a clerk is actually free to take it on.

The window also carries the telephone number and the email address of the desk, so that a passers-by knows how to make contact without asking. The clerk who resets the window initials the board, and the supervisor countersigns it at the close. If a service has to be withdrawn at short notice, the clerk writes the reason in a single sentence on the window and logs the change on the daily board. Clients who plan their work around the window can therefore rely on it, because the company changes the board only for a real reason and always writes that reason down.

Order Review Rounds

An order review round is the company habit of reading every commitment twice. When a sheet holds an order, the review clerk takes it from the bay, checks each line against the stock record, and writes a short confirmation or a short query in the margin. The sheet then returns to the bay for the first clerk to answer. No order leaves the desk with a single reading, and the name of the second reader is always recorded. This small delay prevents the larger cost of an order that has to be corrected after it has already been handed over.

The rounds run in a fixed order, earliest sheet first, so that no matter waits longer than its neighbour. A sheet that cannot be confirmed on the first round is marked for the next round and given a note explaining what is missing. The review clerk keeps a tally of the rounds completed each day and passes that tally to the supervisor at the close. Because the rounds are written rather than spoken, a client can ask to see the review notes for a matter and receive them as part of the ordinary record. The company regards a review round as the backbone of the desk, and it never bypasses one for the sake of speed.

Canopy Sittings

A canopy sitting is a booked conversation held at the desk with the client seated across the board. The desk reserves a seating ahead of time, keeps the lamp bright, clears the board, and places the relevant support sheet where both parties can see it. A sitting lasts about forty minutes, follows a short agenda that the clerk writes beforehand, and ends with a one-page summary that the client carries away. The summary records what was discussed, what was decided, what remains open and who will act next.

Sittings are used for matters that a letter cannot settle, such as a change to an integrated system design, a dispute about a stock record, or the opening of a new project with several moving parts. The client may bring a colleague or an advisor, and the desk will provide copies of the summary for everyone present. If a sitting has to be moved, the desk gives notice by telephone on the day before, and the client is offered the next available slot. The company asks clients to arrive a little early so that the clerk can check the support sheet and seat everyone without hurry.

How a matter moves through the desk

The six services form a single route rather than a menu of separate products. A matter arrives, either by letter or by conversation, and the desk opens a support sheet bay for it. The canopy note run then carries the opening sheet to the back store, where the stock position is confirmed. If the matter needs a formal reply, the street letter desk drafts one and passes it to a second reader. The stall window shows the client what the desk can take on this week, and the order review round confirms every commitment before it is handed over. Where a conversation is needed, a canopy sitting is booked and a summary is written into the same bay.

The company follows this route for every matter, whatever its size, because the route is what keeps the record complete. A client who opens one small query will still find a bay, a note run entry, and a review round for that query, and will receive the same clarity that a larger project receives. The route is also the reason the desk can answer questions months after a matter closed. The bay still exists, the notes still sit in order, and the desk can reconstruct the matter without relying on memory.

Working rhythm

The desk opens at nine in the morning and closes at six in the evening, Monday to Saturday. Morning is given to stall windows and canopy note runs. The middle of the day is given to street letters. The late afternoon is given to order review rounds and canopy sittings. The supervisor closes the board and signs the stall marks before the lamp is turned down.

The full address is No A-17, North Chaoliu Street, Konggang South Zone, Economic Development Zone, YunCheng City - 044000, China (CN). Appointments are booked through the contact page.

What a new client should bring

A new client does not need a finished brief. The desk works well with a plain description of the matter, a note of the records that already exist, and an idea of what the client hopes to achieve. If there are earlier letters, bring copies. If there is a stock list, bring it. If neither exists, that is also workable, and the first canopy sitting will set out what the desk needs to open a bay. The point of the first meeting is to agree the scope in words that both sides can check, not to sign a document in haste.

Clients who work entirely by letter are welcome. The desk will open a bay from the first written message, confirm the details by return letter, and keep the client informed at each step of the route. Where a sitting would be useful, the desk will propose one, but it will not press the client to attend in person. The company understands that many operators in the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services sector work at a distance, and it has built the desk to serve them properly.
